Florence Avenue Park Florence Avenue Park is a wonderful playground that caters to the residents on the north end of town, particularly those living in the Townhouse on Florence Avenue. Selmer City Pool Come beat the heat at Selmer City Pool! We're excited to announce we'll be opening our doors on May 28, 2024. Join us Tuesday through Saturday from 11am to 5pm for a refreshing swim and some fun in the sun. See you there! Patriot Park Patriot Park is a great destination for sports enthusiasts. With its baseball and softball fields it's the perfect place to spend a day playing or watching a game. Come and enjoy the fresh air and friendly competition at Patriot Park. About Us Where Selmer is located in the heart of McNairy County and is rich in history and culture. Selmer is also the county seat, housing one of the largest and most outstanding courthouses in the state of Tennessee! We are a town of approximately 5,800 people. We have something for everyone. Activities For families and visitors, we have a beautiful park for tennis or basketball, a walking trail, and a playground area for the kids. During the summer, you can visit the city pool to cool off or try your hand at our 9-hole golf course. Education For education, we have a satellite campus from UT Martin and a great public school system with great teachers.
